Apple Cabbage Slaw



1 bag shredded cabbage & carrots (or 1 small head of green cabbage, cored and shredded + 2 carrots shredded)

1 small head purple cabbage, cored and shredded

1 bunch scallions, chopped (white and green parts)

1/4 c. flat leaf (Italian) parsley, chopped

4 apples, coarsely chopped

1 lime, juiced

8 oz. Butcher Shoppe Honey-Mustard Poppy Seed Salad Dressing

Salt & pepper to taste (optional)


Combine all ingredients in a bowl and toss.  Enjoy!

Variations:  Broccoli slaw can be substituted for cabbage slaw (use 2 bags of broccoli slaw).  Mix and match apples for more flavor and color (don’t peel your apples!).
