Apple Cider Chicken

Ingredients

4-6 boneless, skinless chicken thighs

2 carrots, sliced

1 red onion, quartered

10 oz. chicken broth

1 pt. Butcher Shoppe Skillet Apples

1/2 c. apple cider

1 fresh orange peel (0ptional)

salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Place all ingredients in a crock pot.  Cook 4-6 hours on high.  Enjoy!

Try adding or substituting any of these vegetables:  red potatoes; sweet potatoes; butternut squash; parsnips, turnips, rutabagas; cabbage.
